The Amaya

The Amaya is a high powered industrial embroidery machines that use a computer based program to transfer designs in to stitch based designs. It is a complex machine but when you begin to understand the complexities of the machine you can create good quality stitch sample in a much shorter space of time than by hand (not that you get the same quality in the stitch) I enjoy using the Amaya to create my samples though I actually use the sample produced as sketchbook work rather than final embroidery samples.
